Captain Jean-Pierre Goosen
Originally from South Africa, Captain Jean-Pierre Goosen brings a dynamic background shaped by the ocean, adventure, athletics, hospitality, and working with people. Over the past 12 years, his career has taken him around the world, with experience spanning professional rugby, fitness, guest service, and life at sea.
For the past six years, Jean-Pierre has built his career in the yachting industry aboard private and charter yachts ranging from 100 to 300 feet. Progressing through senior deck and officer positions before stepping into the role of Captain, he has developed a hands-on leadership style grounded in safety, professionalism, teamwork, and smooth yacht operations.
His yachting experience has taken him throughout the Caribbean, Bahamas, Mediterranean, and beyond, including both Atlantic and Pacific crossings. This broad background has strengthened his confidence, adaptability, and ability to create a safe and seamless experience for guests and crew alike.
What Jean-Pierre enjoys most about chartering is creating experiences guests will genuinely remember. Naturally friendly, positive, and energetic, he enjoys helping guests make the most of the destination, whether through watersports, fitness, exploring hidden anchorages, adventure, or relaxing onboard. His goal is to create an atmosphere that feels professional, relaxed, fun, and unforgettable from the moment guests step aboard.
Chef Jamie Whitfield
Chef Jamie Whitfield brings a bubbly, energetic, and hands-on approach to life aboard. Over the past three years in the yachting industry, she has worked aboard both private and charter vessels, beginning her career as a Stewardess before progressing into a Cook/Stew role.
Her experience has allowed her to grow across both hospitality and culinary service, developing a well-rounded understanding of what makes guests feel welcomed and cared for onboard. Jamie loves working in the galley, creating beautiful and delicious food, experimenting with new ideas, and seeing guests enjoy something she has prepared.
In addition to cooking, Jamie enjoys crafting cocktails and bringing a fun, creative touch to guest service. Her warm personality, positive energy, and willingness to jump in wherever needed help create an atmosphere that feels relaxed, friendly, and attentive throughout the charter.
Outside of work, fitness is a major part of Jamie’s life. She loves staying active, spending time outdoors, and keeping busy, bringing that same enthusiasm and drive into her work onboard. Yachting has allowed her to travel, meet people, challenge herself, and discover a true passion for hospitality and cooking, and she is excited to continue growing while creating memorable experiences for guests.
Stewardess Georgia Rogers-Smith
Born and raised in an industrial town in Northern England, Stewardess Georgia Rogers-Smith always knew she wanted a life shaped by travel, sunshine, and new experiences. Her path into yachting began in 2018 when she stepped aboard her first sailing yacht and discovered an entirely new world on the water.
Over the next seven seasons, Georgia worked in sailing flotillas throughout the Mediterranean, French Polynesia, and the British Virgin Islands, gaining invaluable experience in guest service, event coordination, and life at sea. Managing experiences for guests from around the world, often while adapting to changing weather and shifting plans, helped her develop a calm, flexible, and highly organized approach to hospitality.
In 2023, Georgia followed her sense of adventure to Australia, where she spent three years exploring a very different side of island and resort life. Her travels took her from the cities to the red dirt of Uluru, where she worked with camels in one of the country’s most landlocked regions, before returning to the ocean on a small island along the Great Barrier Reef and later the Tiwi Islands in the Top End.
Throughout these experiences, Georgia continued to build her hospitality skills, from mixing cocktails and setting up beach barbecues to keeping guest spaces welcoming, organized, and ready for every moment of the day. Whether making beds, preparing drinks, assisting with activities, or simply ensuring guests feel cared for, she brings energy, good humor, and a can-do attitude to everything she does.
Now aboard Casablanca as third crew, Georgia is excited to bring her adventurous spirit and attentive service to life onboard. Whether detailing cabins, mixing cocktails, or helping organize shoreside activities, she is always happy to jump in and help create a relaxed, welcoming, and unforgettable charter experience.

Crew Review from Previous Yacht
📍 Trinidad, Caribbean
✨ “I recently experienced a charter aboard the Two Oceans catamaran HQ2 with Captain Dylan and Kayla. Kayla, our chef and stewardess, handled her dual role with such ease.
Over the course of our charter, it became clear that she has both experience and passion for cooking a variety of cuisines, always prioritising fresh, high-quality ingredients. Our menu catered perfectly to our preferences, with plenty of seafood, meats, and gourmet nibbles. I especially enjoyed the South African braai, Japanese-style lunch, and expansive breakfasts.
Kayla went above and beyond for my birthday, baking a beautiful tropical-themed cake and organising a full celebration.
We also had a guest with a nut allergy, and thanks to Kayla’s clear communication before and during the trip, we were completely at ease regarding cross-contamination.
Her cocktail skills are equally impressive — she crafted drinks tailored to each of our tastes, and I’ve already tried recreating a few at home!
Our entire experience aboard HQ2 was elevated by Kayla’s warm, attentive service, and we have already recommended this charter to others.” — Telicia Campain
Crew Review from Previous Yacht
📍 Grenada, Caribbean
✨ “What a lovely two weeks I enjoyed aboard HQ2. The weather, entertainment, and peaceful quiet were all perfect. I felt especially fortunate to be on board while Kayla was experimenting with new dishes.
Her cooking is already excellent, but the anticipation every second or third night — when she unveiled a new dish — was always met and then surpassed.
A standout dish was The Wild Thing: game carpaccio with phyllo pastry, cream cheese, and fresh strawberries dressed in a balsamic-honey reduction. Her delicate touch with vegetarian dishes also hit the mark. You have a true treasure in her.
And of course, I must mention the marvellous South African braais prepared by Dylan and Jesse. Simply unforgettable.” — Linda Harris

✨ “My mom was very concerned about spending a month on board due to her disability, worried she would be a burden. Instead, it was such a joy watching the crew (my adult children) create innovative and thoughtful ways to help their grandmother on and off the yacht with dignity, ease, and fun.
They gently encouraged her to step outside her comfort zone and she ended up having the most incredible time.
Whether it was a beautifully decorated swing or a comfortable chair designed to lower her into the water, or keeping her seated in the tender until it was lifted to deck height — every movement was made safe, easy, and comfortable.
Their care gave my mom the confidence to fully enjoy swimming, snorkelling, and relaxing — something we never imagined possible.” — Sandy Paynter

📍 Saint Helena, Atlantic Ocean
✨ “I accompanied the HQ2 crew on multiple adventures, two of which were especially memorable: St. Helena Island and Inhaca Island, Mozambique.
On our Inhaca trip, we enjoyed coconut cocktails, bar hopping, deep-sea fishing, snorkelling, and wakeboarding. The crew even recreated famous Mozambican chicken on board — perfectly paired with fresh salads.
My trip to St. Helena in April 2023 was equally unforgettable. As a fishing lover, joining the crew for fishing trips — both from HQ2 and with the locals — was a highlight.
The standout meal of the entire trip? Fresh Dorado prepared for a perfect beach braai and snorkel in Lemon Valley.” — Sean Roberts
