An unforgettable week with exceptional people. Some vacations are memorable because of where you go. This one was memorable because of who we shared it with.

From the moment we stepped aboard Boatox, Mike and Debbie made us feel completely at ease. As a husband and wife crew, they have an easy chemistry that sets the tone for the entire trip. The atmosphere they created was calm, welcoming, relaxed, and fun. By the end of the first day, it felt less like we had hired a captain and first mate and more like we were exploring the British Virgin Islands with friends.

Mike is everything you’d hope for in a captain. His knowledge of the islands, weather, anchorages, and hidden gems is remarkable. Every recommendation was spot on, from secluded beaches and incredible snorkeling to scenic hikes and an unforgettable beachfront lobster dinner. We trusted his judgment completely, and each day somehow managed to surpass the last.

And then there’s Debbie.....

Yes, she’s an extraordinary cook, but that hardly captures everything she brought to the trip. Every breakfast, lunch, appetizer, dinner, and dessert was exceptional. Beautifully prepared, incredibly fresh, and full of flavor, her meals rivaled many of the restaurants we visited. More than once, we found ourselves looking forward to dinner onboard just as much as dining ashore because we knew Debbie would create something special.

What impressed us just as much was the way she and Mike worked together. While Debbie was anticipating every guest need, she was also right beside Mike raising sails, navigating, handling lines, and docking the yacht. And when it was time to prepare a meal, Mike was just as quick to step into the galley to lend a hand. There was never a sense of “his job” or “her job.” They simply worked as one team, always supporting each other and doing whatever was needed to create an exceptional experience.

What made the week truly unforgettable wasn’t just the itinerary or the incredible food. It was the way Mike and Debbie cared for every detail without ever making it feel like work. Their teamwork, patience, kindness, and genuine hospitality created an environment where we could completely unplug, relax, laugh, and enjoy every moment. Everything felt effortless because they made it look that way. By the end of the week, we didn’t just leave with wonderful memories of the British Virgin Islands. We left feeling like we’d made two new friends.

Our 7 day cruise on Boatox was unbelievable. We knew it would be amazing but Mike and Deb made it magical.
They were so gracious, welcoming, thoughtful and knowledgeable. I've already recommended their charter to several friends and we are planning our next trip with them.
The meals were some of the most exquisite and the excursions (hiking, swimming with turtles, Moke rentals) were perfectly curated. We had no idea how incredible this experience would be and now that we know we will craft our travel plans around regular sails with this crew.

Had the most AMAZING experience aboard "Boatox"! From the minute we stepped on u til the minute we stepped off Mike and Debbie were the ultimate hosts! We cannot speak highly enough of their genuine care and effort they put into our charter! We left with two new friends! The itinerary was fabulous, Captain Mike's daily cocktail offerings and Debbie's culinary feast was top notch! She manages to make 5 star meals in 5 square feet of space! We will definitely sail with them again! The best vacation!!!!!

Our week aboard BOATOX with Mike and Debbie was truly unforgettable. From the moment we stepped on board, they made us feel completely at home and took care of every detail.
We visited so many incredible spots throughout the British Virgin Islands, from beautiful snorkeling reefs full of marine life (sea turtles, stingrays, tropical fish!) to peaceful beaches and some of the islands' iconic beach bars.
Every day was perfectly balanced between adventure, relaxation, and fun, and Mike always seemed to know the best places to take us based on what we enjoyed most.
The food was exceptional. Debbie is an incredible chef, and every breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert was something we looked forward to each day. The meals were fresh, creative, and restaurant-quality, and even Mike impressed us with the best seafood paella I've ever eaten!
Beyond the itinerary and the food, what really made the trip special was the crew themselves. They were professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely fun to spend the week with. They anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and made the entire experience feel effortless.
If you're looking for the perfect way to experience the British Virgin Islands, we couldn't recommend booking Boatox more highly. It was the trip of a lifetime, and we're already dreaming about coming back.

What an incredible week exploring the British Virgin Islands aboard **Boatox** with Debbie and Mike!
From the moment we stepped on board, we knew we were in for something special. The boat was beautiful, spacious, and incredibly comfortable, with plenty of room for the five of us to relax. Debbie had gone above and beyond to make our cabin feel warm and welcoming, and those thoughtful touches made us feel right at home.
Mike was an outstanding captain. His knowledge of the BVI is second to none, and he took the time to understand what we wanted to see before tailoring an itinerary around the weather and our interests. Whether we were sailing between islands or anchoring in secluded bays, we always felt completely safe and in expert hands. And to top it all off, his craft cocktails and perfectly curated playlists kept the fun going all week!
Debbie is an exceptional first mate and an incredibly talented chef. We were blown away by every meal she prepared-from gourmet burgers and perfectly cooked steaks to an unforgettable seafood paella. The quality, presentation, and flavour were on par with some of the best restaurants we've been to, which made it even more impressive knowing it was all coming from the galley of a catamaran. Every meal was a highlight.
This was genuinely one of the best vacations we've ever had, and we're already counting down the days until we can return. If you're thinking about chartering a boat in the BVI, book with complete confidence. Debbie, Mike, and Boatox deliver a truly first-class experience that you'll remember for a lifetime.

Our week in the BVI with Captain Mike and Chef Debbie was unforgettable. Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made every day feel effortless and special. Captain Mike's knowledge of the islands, history, and hidden gems enriched the trip, while his calm, confident approach kept us feeling safe and relaxed. Chef Debbie was outstanding, preparing beautiful, delicious meals, and Captain Mike delighted us with amazing, interesting cocktails that were as creative as they were delicious. Together, they gave us the perfect balance of adventure, relaxation, and genuine hospitality. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they always went the extra mile. We highly recommend them for an unforgettable BVI yacht charter for any traveler.

We are still marveling at our amazing week with our family of 5 on Boatox!! From the very start with authentic yacht charter our experience was incredible. The boat itself was beautiful with plenty of space for our three teens to spread out but also lots of space for us to hang out all together. There aren't adequate words to describe how fabulous our crew was. Mike and Debbie are simply Wonderful people who love each other, love what they do and joyfully share it with others. Mike's knowledge of sailing, yachts, the islands, and many other things gave us such a confidence as we explored and provided such wonderful conversations. He guided us to just the right places and even took us on an amazing hike. Debbie's food was simply delicious not to mention...

I consider myself pretty "well traveled" and have enjoyed some remarkable destinations and experiences around the world. While the Caribbean has been a destination enjoyed for business reward trips, with family, and with friends... a catamaran charter beyond a day trip had not made my list of adventures, until last week.
Using my upcoming 50th birthday as an "excuse", my wife and I embarked with two other couples on what was truly a celebration of great friendship and a mutual love of adventure, new experiences and relaxation.
Our week-long charter on the catamaran Boatox delivered all of these things, and so much more. Thanks to our crew, Mike and Debbie Norman, we enjoyed the BVIs "must see" destinations along with some special lesser known treats. While charting an appropriate course is very important, my pre-trip research put significant importance on how the crew members themselves can greatly influence the experience of the guests. Although my first trip like this, I can't agree more with this statement and would recommend choosing a well recommended crew as being as or more important than boat amenities, exact trip routes, etc...
That being said, Mike and Debbie were simply the best! I can't imagine how a crew could be more personable, knowledgeable and caring to details than these two. They made us feel safe and confident at every turn, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy the time with our friends. We were kept on track to phenomenal destinations, without feeling rushed and looked after at all times with anything we could need and want.
I could go on and on about the boat accommodations above and below deck, the specific destinations and activities we enjoyed, and especially the wonderful food the entire week. But if there is one thing I would suggest to a first-timer, choose your crew with intention. I am confident our selection of Boatox, and specifically Mike and Debbie, elevated our experience to a level many seasoned charter guests may have not yet been lucky enough to experience.

BVI’s + Birthday fun = Boatox

What an amazing time we had sailing the BVls on Boatox with Captain Mike and Chef Debbie! It was a week of perfect weather, smooth sailing, delicious gourmet food and gorgeous views enjoyed with friends. The hospitality of Mike and Debbie was top notch! From Debbie's attention to detail, remembering our food preferences and making sure we had everything we needed to Mike's insightful recommendations for hiking, snorkeling and places that were must sees! We are experienced boaters but it was our first time sailing for vacation and it won't be our last. Can't wait to plan our next adventure with Capt Mike and Debbie on Boatox!!

Debbie and Mike were PHENOMENAL hosts! They went above and beyond our entire trip. We took this trip to celebrate a birthday and on the last night they decorated for him (without us knowing). It was so special!
The food was EXCELLENT! Every meal was fantastic. Debbie made sure to accommodate a gluten allergy as well. Would highly recommend booking Boatox! Once in a lifetime experience. 10/10!

Trip of a lifetime with best of friends on Boatox

Our week aboard Boatox with Captain Mike and Mate/Chef Debbie was nothing short of spectacular! Exploring the British Virgin Islands by catamaran was an unforgettable experience, and Mike and Debbie made every moment exceptional.
Captain Mike expertly guided us through the most beautiful islands, beaches, coves, and hot spots throughout the BVI. His knowledge of the area, attention to detail, and incredible cocktails kept everyone relaxed, entertained, and eager for the next adventure.
Debbie's culinary talents were truly outstanding. Every meal was beautifully presented, fresh, and absolutely delicious. From breakfast to dinner, each dish felt like something you'd expect at a high-end restaurant. She accommodated everyone's preferences, including my food allergies, with ease and somehow managed to exceed our expectations every single day.
The combination of breathtaking scenery, crystal-clear waters, amazing excursions, incredible food, and Mike's signature drinks created the perfect vacation. Run Don't Walk to Boatox with Mike and Debbie Norman!

This was our first chartered Catamaran experience and I assure you it won't be the last! We visited the USVI but mostly the BVI. The water and beaches are obviously stunning and breathtaking at times, so that leaves the catamaran and hosts as variables.
We were fortunate to be on Boatox, a beautifully appointed Catamaran, but most importantly we had luck on our side to be in the capable and gracious care of Debbie and Mike Norman!
Their commitment to our experience and holiday was quite evident! Communication regarding options of where to go and why and what we should expect was beyond helpful. The thoughtful approach to our experience was pivotal to our itinerary. Our safety was always at the forefront of decisions and how to maximize our experience.
Whether it was where to snorkel or where to to find a private cove or how to navigate off boat experiences such as beaches, beach bars, restaurants, spa treatments or must see sights, the options and logistics where well thought out and we were seamlessly guided.
The food was beautifully presented and our preferences were constantly discussed. Debbie sets exquisite table scapes and I'm still not sure where she keeps all the pieces. Mike is at the ready to make you a hand crafted cocktail at any moment!
Beyond the "duties" of the chef and captain, Mike and Debbie extended themselves to us as friends and quickly became like family. We celebrated together and shared stories of our lives and it became obvious to us these are genuine people with hearts of gold.
I will be challenged in future charters to be in such capable and caring hands with anyone but Mike and Debbie! 5 stars, highly recommend!

Captain Mike & Chef Debbie on BOATOX made our week stay the trip of a lifetime! The boat was beautiful, the service impeccable, and would recommend any time spent on this catamaran!! Fantastic Boatox Experience!

We had an amazing time onboard Boatox with Mike and Debbie Norman! Had no idea what to expect from this trip — just knew we wanted to go! Everything was superb! The boat is clean and comfortable, the weather was perfect, the itinerary was awesome and Mike and Debbie were the perfect hosts! I am a very picky eater and Debbie accommodated me at each meal, without making me feel uncomfortable. Already planning to return and spend more time in the BVI with the Normans.

We had the most incredible experience on our charter yacht, Boatox, with Debbie and Captain Steve. From the moment we stepped onboard, everything felt seamless and luxurious. The food was absolutely amazing—every meal was fresh, beautifully prepared, and something we genuinely looked forward to each day. The islands we visited in the British Virgin Islands were beyond stunning, with crystal-clear water, gorgeous beaches, and unforgettable views everywhere we went. One of the best parts of the trip was the flexibility—Captain Steve was so accommodating and allowed us to adjust our itinerary and make spontaneous stops, which made the whole experience feel relaxed, personalized, and truly special. It was the perfect mix of adventure and comfort, and we can’t recommend it enough.

Choose the Boatox!!

Not only was this our first catamaran adventure, but it was our first trip to the British Virgin Islands. Our group of six adults left somewhat spellbound by the experience aboard the Boatox with its crew, Mike and Debbie. The boat size was perfect (one of my concerns) and well appointed,; the stops were exquisite (so much good snorkeling and local fun); and the crew was simply spectacular. Mike and Debbie are very knowledgeable of the area and guided us to the best locations with our limited time. Plus, they are just so likable (can we adopt them?). Great food and great memories. We would do it again in a heartbeat and hope to sooner rather than later.

A Fantastic Vacation on The Boatox!

We chose The Boatox catamaran with Captain Mike and his wife Debbie to sail the BVI. From the initial welcome greeting to the farewell our trip was full of fun, wonderful stories and presentations. Each day was a different experience. Captain Mike took us to places where we enjoyed snorkeling, walking the beach, site seeing at the island and just relaxing. On some days we were able to sail to our destination making that day's journey something you have only dreamed about.
The menu was fantastic! The food presentations were unique and offered a different twist each seating that was welcoming. Debbie and Captain Mike are a great pair in the kitchen!
Our trip was first class thanks to Captain Mike and Debbie. We created fond memories that are unforgettable.

Best Trip Ever

Our trip was absolutely fantastic! We chose to sail in the Boatox catamaran which had captain Mike Norman and his wife Debbie! They are the most wonderful people and made our trip the most wonderful experience! Very grateful for their hospitality and expertise. They wanted to make sure we had the BEST experience and we did!

Pretend Pirate fun in Paradise

We had a phenomenal charter on the super clean and bright catamaran Boatox. Mike and Debbie made our busy wishlist itinerary come true! Even the weather cooperated. Chef Debbie made delicious meals and treated us to a South African BBQ and the popular South African Bobotie 😘 as well as Paella, Thai curry shrimp, grilled steaks and too many yummy dishes to remember! Captain Mike kept the Espresso Martini’s, Pain Killer’s, Bushwacker’s, Lemon drops, and various drink specials flowing. The Salt and Swagger Six had a legendary time making everlasting memories! Debbie and Mike are a fun loving couple and care deeply about their guests comfort and safety. Captain Mike even made a song about us! Thanks again Mike and Debbie our new forever friends!

Magical Week on Boatox with Magical Hosts

The most unbelievable trip, on the most unbelievable boat, with the most unbelievable crew! Mike and Debbie are hands down the best hosts you could ever dream of for, and Boatox was truly magical. Mike effortlessly guided us and met our every request, while Debbie was by far the best chef, and first mate anyone could ask for. Mike and Debbie are now more than friends to us, they are family. Would rate this 20 out of 10 if we could! Can’t wait to book our next trip, and wouldn’t want to do it with anyone else!

Best vacation of our lives! We can’t wait to go back. We were celebrating two family birthdays and they made it so memorable. The kids wanted action while we wanted to chill and Mike and Debbie accommodated everyone. The food was a culinary experience every meal both in taste and presentation. Debbie was a master chef. Mike was captain but also helped everyone with fishing, paddleboards, snorkeling, and shuttling everyone in the dinghy and he makes some amazing cocktails. In addition to being experts at their crafts they are quite fun. We left feeling like we had gained new family members.
