MERRY-TIME is a 2022 48’ Bali 4.8 sailing catamaran built for easy, open-air living in the Virgin Islands. Bali’s signature indoor-outdoor flow connects the bright, fully air-conditioned salon and open galley directly to the aft and forward cockpits, creating inviting spaces for relaxed dining, lounging, and sunset cocktails. Above, the spacious flybridge offers comfortable seating and panoramic 360° views, while multiple deck zones make it easy to gather together or find a quiet corner with a book.
Accommodating up to 8 guests, MERRY-TIME offers 4 queen cabins, each with a queen bed measuring approximately 5’ wide by 6’6” long. Every cabin features a private ensuite with an electric head, shower, sink, vanity, and individually controlled A/C. The starboard-side cabins include dry stall showers, while the port-side cabins feature wet showers. Large windows keep the interior bright and connected to the surrounding scenery, while water toys add plenty of fun between anchorages. Uncomplicated, comfortable, and island-ready, MERRY-TIME delivers effortless Caribbean days.
Crew accommodations feature bunks measuring approximately 32” wide by 75” long on the top and 36” wide by 75” long on the bottom. Smoking is not permitted aboard the yacht.

Meet our Crew
Captain Sylvio LeBlanc
Growing up on the shores of the Northumberland Strait along Canada's Atlantic Coast, Captain Sylvio LeBlanc developed a lifelong connection to the sea. He discovered sailing at an early age, spending nine consecutive summers at his local sailing school and laying the foundation for a career built around the water.
Over the past four seasons, Sylvio has captained luxury charter yachts throughout the British Virgin Islands, building extensive experience while earning a reputation for professionalism, exceptional service, and thoughtful itinerary planning. He holds his RYA Yachtmaster certification, BVI Boatmaster, Bahamas Boatmaster, and additional professional maritime qualifications.
Sylvio's in-depth knowledge of the British Virgin Islands allows him to create personalized itineraries that balance iconic destinations with secluded anchorages, pristine beaches, outstanding snorkeling and diving sites, and memorable shoreside experiences. Whether guests are seeking adventure, relaxation, or a little of both, he enjoys crafting voyages that reflect their individual interests and pace.
Working seamlessly alongside his crew, Sylvio combines confident seamanship with an attentive, guest-focused approach. His calm professionalism and careful attention to detail create an effortless onboard atmosphere where guests can simply relax, explore, and enjoy an unforgettable Caribbean experience.
Chef Melissa King
With a passion for fresh, beautifully presented cuisine, Chef Melissa King brings creativity, professional training, and a genuinely personal approach to every charter. Formally trained in Professional Cookery, Culinary Arts, and Patisserie through City & Guilds International, her career spans private chef work, luxury hospitality, professional yachting, and event styling.
Melissa's yachting experience includes two seasons aboard the 85-metre M/Y Solandge as Crew/Sous Chef, where she refined her culinary skills while working within the exacting standards of the superyacht industry. She later transitioned to a combined Chef/Stewardess role aboard a 28-metre motor yacht, gaining valuable experience delivering both exceptional cuisine and personalized guest service.
It was this more intimate style of yachting that inspired Melissa to pursue Caribbean chartering. She enjoys getting to know each guest personally, creating thoughtfully tailored menus and paying close attention to the small details that make every vacation feel truly special.
Melissa's cuisine is inspired by quality seasonal ingredients, fresh vibrant flavors, and the destinations she visits. From leisurely breakfasts and colorful alfresco lunches to sunset hors d'oeuvres and elegant dinners beneath the stars, she believes every meal should be a memorable part of the charter experience.
Her creativity extends well beyond the galley. With a professional background in luxury event styling, Melissa has designed bespoke tablescapes, floral installations, and décor for weddings and high-end events. She brings that same artistic eye onboard, creating beautiful table settings and thoughtful finishing touches that enhance every dining experience.
For Melissa, the greatest reward of chartering is building genuine connections with her guests. She loves learning their preferences, anticipating their needs, and creating meals and moments that become lasting memories of their time in the islands.

Guest Testimonials
March 2026
The Merry-Time vessel itself was incredible and our numerous off-boat excursions were amazing but the overall experience was defined mostly by the hospitality, professionalism, fun and friendships with Malcolm & Pia. This will be a lifelong memory (and/or maybe the first of many) for our entire family.

Marvelous Trip
It made a huge difference having Adam as a captain. He has worked commercially with the BVI's for more than 5 years. His safety and flexibility were noticeable.
Kate the cook was the best we ever had. She was always anticipating our needs and not once we had to ask her for anything.
Thank you, for the recommendation and selection.

We are at the airport heading back to reality. Great pick with the catamaran. Couldn't have been a better vacation. Mary, Ron and Captain Malcolm where amazing. So many extras even we didn't expect, and we got spoiled with the fantastic food, drinks and desserts. The captain knows everyone, so dinner reservations, tours, and rent cars were done seamless, without even having to turn on our phones. Boat was flawless, and have a water trampolines, sea scooters, paddle boards, kayaks, wakeboarding, etc. They went over the top to make sure we had a fantastic trip. I would very highly recommend them to anyone!
Thank you for helping us get it all together. It was so easy and came together perfect. Looking forward to booking the next one!
Great Time
Our week on Merry -Time was one of the most enjoyable vacations we have ever taken. Beautiful boat, excellent crew, and unforgettable food! I want to do it again! Thanks to Mary, Ron, and Malcolm for a great adventure.

December 2023
We hit a grand slam when we chose the Merry Time Yacht. Ron and Mary were great hosts. The food was incredible. The ship was clean. We were spoiled to the maximum.
This was our first experience on renting a private yacht. Mary and Ron were the absolute best. They took care of our every need. The food Mary cooked was amazing. They were so very kind and went overboard (literally) to accommodate us. I highly, highly recommend taking a trip on Merry-Time....

Amazing Trip
It's not possible to overstate how amazing this trip was, and it was absolutely due to the way that Ron and Mary ran their ship and the expertise of the 2 captains we had (Malcom, Jeremy). We sailed for 7 days with them in the BVI, and while the locale was of course amazing, the 'experience' was due to the hospitality and tireless service from the crew. We came on as guests and left as good friends.....what more can you say? :)
Trip of a lifetime. My wife and I have already been scheming how to get our family back down here to do the Merrytime again.
Thank you, Ron, Mary, Malcom and Jeremy. You made this trip!
